My Global Village
September 8th, 2013
This is a response on the global community in my family. From where we are were to what we are today. This piece talks about were we are from to what we will become.
On my mom’s side of my grandmother’s family is from England and my grandfather is Irish. On my dad’s side my grandfather was Scottish and my grand mother was Irish.
We only have one religion in the family. That one religion is Christian.
We only know one language English but have learned a little bit of Spanish and a word or two of French.
When my grandmother on my dad’s side was alive she had always wanted to go to Ireland. Eventually, when I’m older we might go to Ireland and spread her ashes at places she always wanted to go.
In the end our family has a big global village that is getting bigger every minute. This family never stops growing.
